Cosmogony

 

A Greek complex word deriving from World + Becoming.

The creation of the world, through search, observation and journey, that distracts places, points and at the same time is focusing on the birthplace of Paxos.

An experiential work series that was born through the focusing of the paths within this specific place.

Each observation creates new notes and successive images.

The traces and the data that rae collected from this tiny world / place are detached, imprinted and then placed in boxes / luggages that create 'windows' with view.

These partially blurred items narrate the identity of the place, the memories and the purity of its colors. They indicate the arrival / departure from and to it as well as its memories. The 'windows' present the  view, stability and installation in space, talking to the land and sea.
